About J-COACH Group

The biography of buses in Japan has an over 100-year-old history. It dates back to September 20,1903 when for the first time in Japan, 6-passenger-bus started its service in Kyoto. Speaking of our group companies, Kanto Jidousha Co.,Ltd., with a fleet of only six number of Chevrolet vehicles, launched the business of sightseeing bus on December 21,1931. The business was then called “Yuran Bus”(Sightseeing Bus). Thereafter, Teisan Kanko Bus Co.,Ltd.(called Teisan Auto at that time) started the sightseeing bus business on October 1, 1950, naming it “Kanko Bus” for the first time after the WWⅡ、the origin of the present-day name. The automotive industry has since kept advancing and has kept making our transportation easier and more convenient. On the other hand, it has brought about a number of “minus” factors as well, such as carbon dioxide emission, traffic congestion, rise of traffic accidents, etc., leaving us “unwanted” bequeathal.
